Cultural Thoughts of a Random Nature...

I know this isn't a new concept but we have "Random Nappurtal/Loc Thoughts" so why not? I figured we all have random thoughts pertaining to cultural issues and this is the place to post 'em! The posts don't have to lead into heavy debates/discussions--just a fun way to vent/ask/ponder a few things.



I'll go first:

1. What if Obama were a darkskinned man; would he have made it this far?

2. What if Barack was the same but Michelle were a white woman?

3. Were there any positive things that came from the Hurricane Katrina tragedy? I know entire families died and were displaced, homes were lost and property destroyed but did any good come out of such a loss? Were there success stories from anyone who survived?

4. What are we gonna do when Oprah's gone? I know she'll still have a satellite station but she won't be in the homes of the general public. What then? Can anyone really take her place?

5. Wonder what Nick Cannon & Mariah's babies will look like...

6. Jackson 5 reality TV show? Really?

7. What if Dreads were allowed throughout the Armed Forces? (Navy, Air Force, Marines,etc.)
