I love it for my hair. I dilute it with rosewater and use it from head to toe. I have been using it as a facial/body wash since 2005/6 but just started using it as a shampoo last year.

    Hey Ladies,

I washed my hair with mine this morning. I read somewhere that it contains glycerin and about a month ago I left it on my hair for longer than usual and it 'soaked' into my hair and almost moisturised it! Strange for soap but my precious little naps LOVE it.

It also helped clear up my bad skin somewhat.

it seems that all girls use the african, but mine is morrocan black soap, olives/potash based.
i use it for my face wash(very effective against dark spots) and body, and last night for fist time i use it as a shampoo(mixed with my conditioner Garnier)
    i think it's a staple !!! ^^

I've used my liquid black soap on the past 3 shampoo occasions. So far, so good. My hair is hiding under a weave at the moment, so I can't really feel how my hair is behaving as of yet. I will say that I haven't had anymore itchies..so that's always a thumbs up!

Whether its from Morocco or Ghana, its still African black soap. Its just that North African black soap is different from West African black soap.
