Great input ladies. Glad to know there's still hope unfortunately though this is another reason why I'm trying to relocate. Cause the black folk here (that I have encountered) don't dig it. Actually I've gotten more compliments from white ppl and the sistas & brothas tend to call me weird, smh. However my friends in NYC & the DMV area can't get enough of it.
But thanks to the responses in this thread I won't give up hope (outside of this place, lol). Much appreciated ladies

Last year in the eight grade I did the big chop. I was so not-confident that I was scared to even look at a guy. As a matter of fact, i didnt want to look at ANYONE!! Over the summer, I discovered youtube videos about natural hair and automatically gained super confidence
So basically, what Im trying to say, is that boys like confidence in girls no matter how they look! This explains why super ugly (but confident) girls can get guys !

It'd be nice to have a guy be interested in me, but I just don't stand out much. I never stood out with a perm and I don't stand out with a TWA. :/
I mostly get old guys to hit on me on a daily basis... Maybe I should take them up on their dinner offers.

I'm going to agree with Saoirse. It's the old geezers that want to have a chat. But the younger ones are rare and few. I think it's easier for a guy to stay with you while you go through the process than for him to just walk up to you afterward.

Nahhh, I haven't found a man....but at the same time I never had a man when I was relaxed or weaved up either.
I feel like if I were going to go natural (and I definitely was), then it would be better for me to go sooner than to wait for when I actually do have an SO and start transitioning then, only to found that my bf wasn't down for the natural.
Oh...and Saoirse, you are very pretty so what the heck is wrong with those guys?

Saoirse, don't be so hard on yourself.
Everyone is special and everyone has somethings that make them different a lot of them just cover it up. Let your differences work for you. People will respect that.
