Newbie, but Oldie
Hey Everyone,
I am returning to Nappturality after a long time away. Right now I have 7 yo locs, but am currently in the process of taking them down. My reasoning behind taking down my locs is just the simple fact that I want to try something new and my hair has been thinning (to me) at the hairline. During my transition to natural hair, I went straight from relaxed hair to sisterlocks. As time went on, my locs started to thin a little and I combined them into traditional locs. For some time I have been going back and forth on whether or not I should take down my locs and now I have finally made up my mind. I'm excited, but also nervous because I will have to learn what works and what doesn't work for my hair. Wish me luck! )

Welcome back natural-ee
Sorry to her about your thinning hairline. That's one thing I see a lot of when locs are installed tightly at the hairline. We have a loc take-down forum now so I will enable your account so you can go right ahead and post in there.
