Question How I achieve a style featuring Chain Braids ?

I'm trying to find a tutorial or video on how to do chain braids on afro-textured hair as pictured midway on this page featuring a style called "Chain Braids Bun" http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/bla...rowdignite.com Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this ? The only blogs/videos I can find are on straight hair that use a lot of knotting. I can't see that working for my hair.

What you're describing is basically how chain braiding works. I'm not sure you're going to be able to do this on hair that's not at least super-stretched.

You might want to try creating twists out of the parts of your hair that you want to have that chain look. Just speculating here...If you were to pull the back of your (super-stretched) hair into a bun and leave the front loose, then put the front into twists and somehow shape them into coils that look like chain link...You might have to use small bobby pins to hold the coils down; I don't see them staying with product alone.

I don't wear my hair super-stretched otherwise I'd try this for myself. Sorry I can't help more...good luck and let us know what you find out.
Hello, 2021. Glad to see you. Hope you're bringing us goodness and light this year!
