Hi former 10 year ago member
Hello I'm just trying to navigate my way around this site. I was natural then relaxed, and transitioned back to natural. I had to rejoin the community of die hair naturals with mentioned of relaxing, texlaxing and all that mess. I will say I am a heavy wig wearer. And I don't know the rules around here. However, it takes forever to do my hair and make it stay that way everyday. So I wear a nappy wig that looks similar to my natural hair.

Just stay away from discussion promoting heat applications and you should be good.

Hello and welcome heavy wig wearer. It took me forever to do my hair too when I started going natural but then I got used to it and could detangle my hair in no time. Doing it in shower saved half the time and the right tools helped too. Some swear by the Denman brush others by the Tangle Teezer. Just take your time and make sure you find what works for you.

Welcome back, hairninja!
I typically pass through Nappturality around my nappy-versary (coming up soon). I can relate to "it takes forever to do my hair" but over the months I've learned to work quicker and have enjoyed some wonderful audiobooks that I download from the library to my phone to pass the time. Hope things get easier/more efficient for you too.Happily embracing my God-given hair
