Protective Styles for Flaky Scalp
Hello Ladies:
I am going through some scalp issues that need to be remedied ASAP!
My problem is that the shampoo that I need to use is very drying so I was thinking of getting a protective style that will allow me to wash my hair twice a week (or more) and still be able to get me out of the door. I usually wear my hair in a two strand twists (using my own hair) about 99% of the time. I also hair braid strap 4c hair that is natural.
I was thinking of the following styles that will allow me to do my hair in a relatively short time:
- box braids:
(+) it will allow my hair to remain "neat" through the multiple shampoos per week
(-) afraid for my edges... lol
- two strand twists with extensions:
(+) my edges are less likely to be damaged
(-) it might frizzier esp. with the multiple washings
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I was thinking about the best type of hair to use: Regular hair braiding hair or marley braids?
Thanks, any and all advice welcomed!
