I am so glad that I found this thread!!! I just about printed out the entire thing and have been concocting all weekend. Too bad I only have one head to try all of these out on. I made the Thick Rich Body/Hair Milk and Creamy Hair Cream. I also made a glycerine spray and an herbal tea spray. I also tried avocado and mayo on my damaged hair. Love, Love, Love all of this. My curls are really defined and dare I say it...bouncy?
Here is my addition to the thread...I dont really measure, I just eyeball it.
unrefined shea butter
coconut oil
sweet almond oil
olive oil
honey (just a tad)
I used the avocado/mayo treatment. Then I used the above recipe for extra conditioning when making my 2-strand twists and wrapped in a silk scarf. This morning I rinsed my hair with Pantene Curls to Straight condish and when I got out of the shower applied the Thick Rich Body/Hair Milk. My hair is lovin' this.
Thanks to all of you ladies who have contributed.

Herbal Hair Rinse (for dry, itchy scalp)
-3/4 Peppermint Tea
-1/4 ACV
-2 dollops of Aloe Vera Gel
-1 squirt of Honey
-A couple drops of Tea Tree EO
-A couple drops of Eucalyptus EO
I mix up the aforementioned in a water bottle. I use it once a week after shampooing.Last edited by Fronomenal; 01-09-2011 at 05:37 PM.

Omg this is perfect! I usually buy natural shampoos and conditioners from this fair trade shop in England, but at the moment I'm in Spain and don't kno where to get good products, thanks to this thread I can just buy the ingredients and do everything at home <3
