I searched until I located the full ingredient list for this product. Here it is:
Ingredients: Castor (Ricinus Communis) Oil, Olive (Olea Europa) Oil, Distilled Water, Organic Amla (Phyllanthus Emblica), Organic Aloe (Aloe Ferox) Africana, Organic Brahmi (Bacopa Monniera), MSM (Methosulfonylmethane), Vegetable Glycerin, Vegetable Emulsifier, Vitamin E, Phenoxyethanol, Mixed Parabens, Fragrance.

Typically, cream/lotion formulas have three phases: PartA (Water), Part B (Oil/Emulsifiers), and Part C (Additives/Preservatives)

    Let's break down this list:
    Castor Oil - Part B
    Olive Oil - Part B
    Distilled Water - Part A
    Organic Amla
    - whole amla fruit steeped in desired oil - Part B
    - amla tincture - Part A
    - amla powder rehydrated in hot water - Part A
    Organic Aloe - Part A
    Organic Brahmi
    - Brahmi tincture - Part A
    - Brahmi powder rehydrated in hot water - Part A
MSM - water soluble powder - Part A
    Vegetable Glycerin - Part A
Vegetable Emulsifier - possibly organic lecithin or BTMS - Part B
Vit. E - probably used as a antioxidant to help preserve other oils - Part C
Phenoxyethanol, Mixed Parabens, Fragrance - preservatives - Part C

If you are aiming for a thick cream, you may want to try play around with this recipe that I got from herbarie.com.
Part A (distilled water, aloe, amla, brahmi, MSM, veggie glycerin) - 59% of total recipe, try to limit herbal additives to 5% of Part A
Part B (Castor, Olive oils, Emulsifier)
    - Oils (max of 30% of total recipe, 30% is fine for thick cream)
    - Lecithin (max of 3% of recipe) or BTMS (max 10% of recipe, 8% is good start for this recipe)
    Part C - max 3% of recipe
Combine and heat Part A to 75C/170F . Carefully heat Part B until BTMS is melted—approximately 170F/75C. Add Part A to B with mixing. Continue to mix until cool. At 50C/122F (or less), add Part C with mixing.

oh cool, thanks for posting. let us know if you try to make it. i wanted to venture out to try to replicate things before but once i saw the price of materials and supplies needed, AND you gotta fiddle with amounts of ingredients, it was cheaper to pay the $16
Thanks to my angel who made me PANK again!!!

Hey, I saw this post and was like, "uh oh, Qhem ain't gonna like that," but shoot, times are really gettin' hard and though it may take her some time, if the OP gets her mixture right then she will save $16 per container plus the cost of shipping and handling. I ain't mad atcha and good luck to you!

REGARDING EMULSIFYING, I'VE BEEN CONCIDERING TRYING TO MAKE THIS MYSELF. I HEARD THAT LECITHIN IS A EMULSIFYIER. I HAVE LECITHING GRANULES I'M NOT SURE IF THAT WOULD WORK, AND I'M NOT SURE IF THEY HAVE THE POWDER? DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF AN EMULSIFIER TO BUY AT THE HEALTH FOOD STORE?

MSM is a sulfur so that may be one of the more important ingredients (for emulsification).

Does anyone know if there are parabens in the formula she's trying to recreate?

I like mixing up new things. What I don't like is when it doesn't come out right and leaves some guck in my hair that I have to wash out. I also don't like wasting my products or my money. And here in Germany, some products are hard to find and expensive to ship or I don't know the name in German to ask for it I've just been using what I can find and trying to make little batches but then I forget what I did and can't duplicate it. ^_^ I've started writing down everything. My latest is flaxseed gel. I really like it and it's cheap and easy to make (just water, flaxseeds and oil). It gives great curl definition and shine but if you use too much it can be a lil crunchy. I'm still working on the alma/olive heavy cream but can't figure out what emulsifiyer is in German...
