ALRIGHT YALL!! I FOUND OUT HOW TO DO IT!!!! and this method actually works!!!!
here goes:
1. go to this website: Imageshack
2. once you get there, you will see a box with a BROWSE button, you can choose to upload the picture from you computer putting the green mark in the FILE circle or you can choose a picture in your already made up fotki but putting the green mark in the URL circle.
3. If you choose to use the URL you have to copy the link of the picture and paste it in this box.

Now where do you get this link?
-go to your fotki
-click the picture you want to use
-right click the picture and choose properties
-a little box called element properties pops up
-copy the LOCATION url link
-then paste this link in the box I mentioned earlier

4. There is a little box that says RESIZE IMAGE that is usually pre-checked (if not check that box)
5. Next to the RESIZE IMAGE there is a drop down menu box, in this box choose WEBSITES AND EMAIL
(this will help you from posting outrageously large pictures-----unless you want to of course)
6. then click HOST IT! and let the computer do its thing.

after this is done there will be a screen with several links to choose from depending on what you want to do with your photo.

7. choose the link that says DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE and copy it.
NOTE!!! THIS IS USUALLY THE VERY LAST LINK BOX AT THE BOTTOM!
(dont use the link that says for forums...I know, I know its tempting but it didnt work for me when I did it so DON'T torture yourself by trying to make that link work, learn from my insanity)

8. go to the thread you want to post it in and click the tree icon. This prompts for the link, paste your link in the box and submit your post and tad-ow! its there in the thread.

These are all transition styles from two years ago. The first is just a bun with purple baubled chopsticks. The second and third are of a cornrow style I did on myself. The last pic is of a twist style I did about a month ago. The front part is done in the same design as the above cornrow style.

Thanks for the pic advice but I realised what I was doing wrong. After copying and pasting the URL link in 'properties', I wasn't highlighting and clicking on the tree icon at NP.

This is the result of a twistout. This is what the steam in the shower did to it. I loved this style, I guess it's a fro, I don't know. This is the only pic I have of the style, but I did wear it to work like this for several days.
