mine has almost nothing to do with length but
1. i hope to find the right products to give moisture to my hair
2. accept my natural hair, i haven't been 100% sold if being natural is for me. I feel like it is but sometimes i question my dedication. I personally just don't want to go natural if all i'm going to do is care about how long my hair is stretched or straightened. because i know my hair relaxed couldn't handle a lot of heat so i know most likely natural it won't either ..so *sigh* i've joined this board and lurked to get inspiration and such.

My advice would be to not worry about length. Yes it is nice, but it's not the most important thing. Get your hair healthy and you will get your length. Excessive heat is bad for most types of hair, so I wouldn't say that it's just your hair that can't handle it most people's hair can't. I would say to really be inspired, look at the true reason you want to be and stay natural. For some people it's a feeling of freedom, others it's not wanting to have chemicals in their hair. For me it would probably be a combination of the two. I also am proud of my natural hair. Another way that really helped me stay inspired was to really learn how to take care of my hair. I got lots of books and looked at many natural websites (including this one . That really helped me. You might also find more inspiration by trying different styles. I know that just wearing the same thing can be very boring. Hopefully this was somewhat helpful for you.
Good luck and stay NAPPY!! :lol:Live your life, love it, be free, be YOURSELF!

My hair care goals:
1. Maintain healthy hair
2. Continue to keep my hair moisturized and soft with natural products
3. Learn how to create new styles
4. Short term: Grow my hair out to chin length unstretched.
5. Long term: Grow my hair out to shoulder length unstretched.
6. Be dilligent in wearing protective styles during the winter
Live your life, love it, be free, be YOURSELF!
