    Thumbs down

I was looking all through the site and couldn't find the answer (or maybe overlooked it on mistake :doh ) Well, I have the ingredients to make my own batch of Moeshealoe, (yessssss) but have not idea what is the measuremtns for each ingredient? Should I use 1oz for all or a 2 to 1 ratio by using more shea butter and less aloe vera gel? Help!!!!! :dunno:

    Here;s the recipe I use

    8oz of shea butter soften
    1/2 cup of coconut oil
    1/3 aloe vera gel

To soften my shea butter without getting gritty, I boil water in a pot and then let the tub of shea butter sit in it until it softens, Then I empty it in a mixing bowl and whip it real good, then I add my oil a little at a time and whip it with the shea until it's like frosting, I slowly add the aloe vera gel and whip it until I can it trying to separate. I make a lot because my family also uses it on their skin. HTH

When I make shealoe I use 1 pound raw shea butter, 3/4 cup coconut oil, and 1/2 cup aloe vera gel. The consistency is like a very fluffy frosting. There are pictures in the products folder in my fotki.
