So <strike> tonight </strike> last night at about 9pm, after talking myself in and out of it more times to count, I FINALLY got rid of all my straight hairs. They were very ugly looking in comparison to my curly hair. A couple hours before, just to make sure I wouldn't chicken out, I cut off about 1.5 inches in the middle of my head.
So, Onyx (yes, that's the name for my "old" hair) has passed and Pheonix (name for "new" hair) has been born. <----- I'm lame, but don't particularily care.
This fro, which looks to be about no more than two inches, feels so weird to me as there's not much that I can do with it right now. But hopefully, within a few months (before May) I'll have enough hair to do something with. Most importantly though, I looooooove my curly hair and am excited for when I wake up to see what it looks like washed.
