Hi all
I'm looking to add some colour to my hair soon, now that I'm really enjoying my braidlocs. They're only a month old, but I'm used to having colour in my hair. I'd prefer to use natural dyes (eg henna) and so I have a few questions:
1) What do you use to colour your hair?
2) has anyone tried the Henna bars from Lush?
3) What has been the most effective colour process for you?
4) Is there anything you would recommend?
Thanks in advance for your help!<div align="center">Mocha Bean & Mummy Blog

I use permanent color first and then henna over the color 2 weeks later.
This is typically not recommended, but I'm licensed so I know what to use and not what to use as far as color.
My locs are kindofa chocolate/cherry color, brownish red on the roots and midshaft and down the lower shaft and ends is a brighter red.
I've always wanted to try Manic Panic Red, so that my lightened ends could pick up the red even more; I'll be trying that later this year.
I've never used henna bars.
The henna I use is from hennaforhair.com
I haven't hennaed since starting my locs, so if I ever do henna again, it will be a henna gel preparation.
