i like this video

the images are shocking...true, but shocking...

i used to get my hair braided (for about two years) to grow out my chemical fire cream and started losing the hair around the edges. when i complained to the braider about it (the braids popped off after two weeks sometimes), she said "i have to braid it like that or it won't look right." now that i've started locing, my hair has grown back around the edges. my hair never grew when i had a chemical fire cream either.

I know how braiding and weaves , making the hair thin and break. after braiding my hair is very thin and break easy. I think i have a lil balding in the the front *cry*

I was diagnosed with alopecia areata in March of this year. I was referred by my PCP provider to a great dermatologist in the area. I recieved steroid injections as well as a few topical ointments. It has filled in quite a bit now. I was almost bald when I finally went to a dermatologist. DOn't wait until it's too late ladies. I started a blog about my hair care journey since my diagnosis.
