Lightbulb

Hi people! I've just been browsing throught FromNatureWithLove and found out about Ayurvedic Oil: Amla and Brahmi.

I heard that it smells quite bad :smug - Thats what's stopping me from getting.

Has anyone tired this?? Can I add Essential Oils to it?? :-P

Thanks in advance!!

:heart :razz

You sure can. I have used them together and along with numerous essential oils.
Brahmi aka Gotu Kola, helps to strengthen the hair and
Amla is derived from dried amla berries conditions and nourishes the hair.

I have used it in pomades, butters, hot oil treatments, etc.

Amla oil does smell a little unpleasant, but you can do exactly as NaturallyJade suggests and add all sorts of things to/with it.

I too just purchased some Amla & Bramhi from FNWL
Haven't opened it yet, because Carol's Daughter book arrived too.
Anyway, can the oils be used with honey as a conditioner?

Example:
Honey
Alma
Ylang ylang EO
Peppermint EO

(have to say ~ FNWL delivery was QUICK & service BRILLANT! - called Monday got it on Thursday - to the UK)

@shulta
Yes you can. I think I have a recipe. I will add it here if you like. Just give me a few days and I will post it. It has been hectic the past few weeks so I am not on as much as usual.

~~ETA~~

Now that is impressive! I have to agree with you about FNWL :heart they have excellent customer service. They cost a little more on some of their products. I am willing to pay since they have always been helpful. I have called and emailed them a few times. They always helped me out. You know Nappturality members receive a 5% discount on their order, correct. The code is NAP9362.

FNWL ~ yeah I did use the discount code with my order and since the £ is strong against the $ I ordered quite a bit and got 5 sample fragrance oils :razz

I've just purchased Amla and Brahmi oils from FNWL. Can I make a spritz with these two oils and water? The Amla oil that I have doesn't smell too bad. I would say it's bearable, and the fragrance doesn't seem to stay with you for very long.
