Sure it's been done, but what the hell: What popular practice will you nevah, evah, evah, evah (evah evah? EVAH EVAH) do again, and why? Did you try it more than once? What happened? lol

    For me, two things:

    1) Do a shake-n-go. Uh yeah, tried that for the first time yesterday. Washed at 6:30 a.m. and ended up back in the house at 9 p.m. after all my daily activities. How about my hair was still wet in the center when I got back in the shower .... 15 hours later! And I don't mean damp - I mean sopping wet. The hair that HAD dried was crispety crunchety. That's a no-go!

    2) Use honey on my hair. Tasty to eat. But on my hair, it equals dry, crunch and hardness, no matter how teeny the amount. I want to try Oyin products, but I'm worried even the most remote trace of honey is going to make my hair get all upset! lol

So far I have one thing I will never do again:

I'll never again go on a zero-protein kick. I tried it two weeks ago for a few days, and my hair was mush-mush, after only a few days! I was aiming for softer hair, but mushy hair felt awful to me. From now on I'll limit my protein product use, but won't cut it completely from my routine.

I mix EV00 with the honey, the more oil I use, the looser the honey gets.
but i only use it as a pre-wash/cond. treatment.

NEVAH EVAH EVAH use Cantu Shea Butter leave in. Makes my hair feel "squeaky" clean no matter how much moisturizer I put in it.

Never go back to chemical anything in my hair or my daughters' hair. If it's man-made, keep it away from our heads. :afro: all the way!

I won't ever use a flat flaming hot tool of hair torture on my head. I did it once, in a small section just to see length. It didn't revert and I couldn't do much with it. Ended up having to cut out a lot of damaged naps. <_<

I won't ever use mayo or ACV on my hair. The mayonnaise made the dang shower slippery... dangerous. And it made my hair crunchy. ACV burned my freakin eyes and made my scalp feel weird.

While serching on You tube i would hear many naturals talking about how they had made leave-in conditioners by combining there favorite conditioner with water and spraying it on thier hair before going out. What they neglected to mention is the fact that you cant do this with any conditioner especially one that has protien in it. I used Organix coconut milk conditioner(I forgot that it had egg protien in it) and my hair was dry and tough. Good thing I was just transitioning.I made alot of mistake during my transition period. I think this has made me a smarter nappy. Now i know my hair hates animal protiens. And i always remeber to read lables .

I Won't Evah Evah Evah Nevah Eva become a product junkie Again.

I'm tired of trying different products because time and time again, different products makes my acne flair.

I have tried SO MANY products and I've learned to stay away from products listing shea butter and coconut oil as the main ingredient.
