Lol I hear that. And another Lakers fan yay!

But I will say the FIBA World Championship has been really enjoyable. Half these international folks play in the NBA (seriously some teams like Brazil, half the team are also NBA players) so the level of play is really high. The games after the 'friendlies' have been playoff level, exciting games. Team USA is doing very well. We just made the semis.

My Memphis Tigers were down by 18 pts to USM and won by 1 pt with 6 seconds on the clock with a 3-pointer. C'mon Tigers..we are suppose to be DOMINATING C-USA not inching by!!!

I'm just sharing a praise report. My god son was a first round draft pick in '07 for the New-Jersey nets, but because of some bad choices and a terrible coach he became a nomad of sorts having to travel around the world to get back to the league. Now he plays on the minor league team for the Dallas Mavericks and he just got voted to the All- Star Game in Los Angeles. Maybe God had to let him know that this is a gift and if you don't use it, I will let you lose it. I'm proud of him and maybe oneday he will get back in the league. Lots of people have had to start again and try over in the league before they made it to the victory lap. I'm glad he's on the right track for a second chance!

Thanks chica! Yea, we gotta keep him in our prayers. He would be back in the league this year except when he messed up, it got all the way back to David Stern, "The Commish". He was so pissed off at him that he banned him for about a year so even if he does well, Mr Stern won't let him back in this year.

But I'm praying that God changes Mr Sterns heart. Oh well, at least I can watch him on Saturday night on TV! Be Careful out there!!

carmelo is here in NYC!!! yay!!! hopefully by next year, the knicks will be somewhere near the top. its won't happen this year because they need to find their groove. i'm happy. might have to get me some tickets.
