Yes, I understand exactly what you mean about the freedom that comes with napptural hair! I LOVE being able to jump in the shower, co-wash (even though my hair really is too long to be doing this every day), hop out, throw in some leave-in, seal with oils, throw on some clothes, makeup and bomb earrings and be ready to go! No more dodging the rain or humidity, no more keeping my man from touching my hair, no more nonsense...just FREEDOM and NAPPTURAL BEAUTY!

I love it you guys...lol....I just feel so different...so I am glad you know what I am feeling...I just BC'd last weekend...so I can't get over it..I used to get up put the flat iron on...gel, and the list goes on and on...and when I went to the beach (because I live in Orlando, FL) I would look like a crazy man with my hair all frizzy and wild...No more issues like this...even when the TWA grows out...my hair will be so healthy and nice that caring for it shouldn't be that much different..even if I rock a BAA...lol

I love the freedom too. Especially at the TWA stage, I'd co-wash, spritz on some conditioner and oil, put on a headband and I was done for the day. Now that my hair is longer, I just rinse my hair whenever I feel like it and that is it. I'm not restricted by my hair.

I see what you're saying. As naturals, we can get up, wash our hair when we shower and go! Just like errbody else...

Mmmm most of my white friends shampoo their hair like every other day, think about conditionning only when their hair is damaged, blow dry after each shampoo and wear the same style or same 2 styles all the time. So, nope!

I definitely feel you sis. Thanks for taking me back to exactly how I felt when I first BC'd over 20 years ago. . . it's a wonderful, freeing feeling. I remember feeling so beautiful too. Naturally, without having to be 'fixed' first. I can remember looking in the mirror at the salon, all my permed hair strewn on the floor beneath me, just thinking "WOW!!!"
