I don't have the attention span for nappies on youtube.
I'd rather browse a hair album for hours, than sit through a 5 minute slideshow set to music, listen to someone review products continuously, or watch someone style their hair at an awkward angle in dim lighting.
I just can't get down with it. Give me an old school fotki anyday.

I'm doing box braids today and I hope I can get thru it. I haven't done a set since like 2008 for my vacation.

Trying to get used to looking at my own hair. Want to appreciate its beauty instead of the beauty of kinky twists all the time. I hope this roller set looks nice. Twisted and rolled with rods. Change is a little frightening.

Finally got my braid-out to look good and not so stringy. To think all I had to do was put rollers at the end of my braids. WOW, what a difference! Happy Transitioning Nappy.

So my lesson from yesterday's box braids - don't go overboard on the shealoe or your neck and face will be hella greasy...LOL. I've been wiping my neck all day and then I just finally put my hair in a ponytail. At least I shouldn't have any moisture issues for a few weeks.

I finally finished my box braids. they are not spectacular but then again I am rusty. now my hair can take a break for about a month. I didn't have a lot of shedding this time when I detangled. I know when I take them down I will.
