What's something you LIKE about getting older?

I don't get my panties in a bunch about ERRY LIL THANG anymore....stress is a killer and I am not going out like that, so I choose my battles carefully and try to keep an even keel and since my bs-o-meter is very sharp I don't have to worry about the risk of being hurt/used and all that crazy stuff, I feel FREE!

Not giving a damn about the dumb sh**!!! I don't worry about what others think and knowing to stay away from negative people has only come with age. I love that I had my fun in the clubs and staying up all night in my 20's so that I can sit back with my hubby and watch our kids grow up so we can have our lives back when they are gone! I'm ready for the next phase in my life.

hey sept 1 be 50yrs old this is the next phase in my life kids are grown staying away from toxic people including family and friends who can ruine you emotionally now i enjoy myself to the fullest and let the water roll down my back and keep it moving

This too. Kills me how they don't wanna listen to anybody and think they know everything. Then they come whining and crying for your 'support' and 'nurturing'. LOL. How 'bout a good old fashioned butt whippin'....

I also realize there's so much I want to learn and do and see!
And I dont need a job to define me!
And my time is so valuable it isnt for sale and it isnt free!
and....oh, i can go on and on.
I love it! I was so stupid in my 20's and it took my 30's to dig out of the stupid pit and I did.My 40's feel good and now, there's no going back and I got places to go!
