No more perms! Transition begins and need the support

Hello my name is Ecila (ALICE backwards) and I made the conscience decision in the beginning of the year that I am done with the creamy crack and I want to wear my natural hair. I always see black women wearing their natural hair and I was always fascinated how beautiful our hair can be. I got my first perm at the age of 5... Just for Me... and it burned the sides of my hair and it doesn't grow back til this day. I felt that I needed perms in order for me to deal with my hair but I realized that I am just causing nothing but damage upon damage to my hair at this point. I am now growing my perm out and am wearing extensions in my hair. I need the support and the advice and thank you for welcoming me into the world of Nappturality!
