Hi you all, I decided to go natural 7 years ago, but you have to be ready in order to do so, especially after wearing relaxers nearly 30 years. I have no idea what my natural hair looks like. I was nervous, but after bomb hair dressers, thinning hair from relaxers, and wasting my money, I decided to finally go natural. My last relaxer was in January. Let me tell you I am so excited about having natural hair. I thought my hair would come out, but its actually growing even more. I use African Pride shampoo and conditioner, and I like that the conditioner can also be used as a leave in. Come to find out my roots are actually curly. I can wet my hair or put conditioner in it and it just curls right up. I am looking forward to the relaxer being completely out of my hair.

I am wearing kinky twists, let my hair breath for two weeks, and get my hair re-done. I clip the ends before getting it redone.

Any suggestions for other hairstyles while growing it out?
