    Default Sulfate Free Shampoo???

    Hey everyone!

Currently I use Palmer's Olive Oil Formula Shampoo, but I've noticed that the second and third ingredients are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Before I transitioned, I was taught to just shampoo my hair with just that and then use a Garnier Fructis 2-in-1 Conditioner that's made for fine, straight hair. Even with using the right conditioners, my hair still feels drier than I thought it would be after using shampoo. Are there any good sulfate free shampoos that aren't too expensive? I'm thinking of using my own money to try Giovanni or Organix.

I just tried Giovanni's Smooth as Silk Moisturizing Shampoo yesterday and it seemed to be okay...no drying effect. It does have gentle cleansing agents but they are much lower down on the ingredients list.

Haven't used Garnier fructis because the ingredients contained silicones and a few other ingredients I stay away from. Another sulfate free shampoo that's not too expensive is Shikai Natural Everyday shampoo.

    Hope this helps.

I like the Olive Oil Conditioning Shampoo from BioINFUSION. It works really well for my hair, and is usually no more than about $8 in Walgreens, though sometimes it's on sale for about $6.

Lady Xi that is a great list and thanks for the link. There are probably more products out there that can be added since it was done 4 years ago.
