Default How to Tell If You Still Have Some Relaxed Ends After BC

    Hi all,

I did some cute 2 strand twists in my hair yesterday and I noticed that even after the BC some of my ends unraveled. I'm not sure if it's actually the texture of my hair in these areas or if the stylist failed to cut off all of my relaxed ends.

Any idea how to tell if I still have some relaxed ends in my hair? I really, really don't want to go back to get more hair cut off . If that happens I'll have to move out of my house for a few days ! My husband can't take another cut, and honestly, I don't think I can either.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have any straight ends?

If you don't, you're probably relaxer-free. After a fresh haircut, it's usually harder to keep your twists twisted. That's because the hair is blunt.

maybe your sections or too big or the ends or blunt.

but i think wetting the hair would be a good way to see if you have relaxed strands. relaxed will look a lot straighter

That's what I thought, but I was told by someone who's licensed as a cosmetologist today that my ends were unraveling because I still had some relaxer in my hair. I didn't see any straight ends so I told her that I didn't agree with her. There are a few in the back and I'm clipping those as I see them, but none in the front.

I think I'm good to go!

My ends are blunt from the recent cut. I'm not going to let this worry me and continue enjoying my hair !!!
