I wonder if gr2006 or yassylane can get their hair to stand up in an afro? They have so much hair. I'm gonna pm them.
Ooo, or clawsglaw. I think that's her name.

If I can get someone to put my hair back in braids, I would love to show how big my afro is. It may flop because of the length, though. Hmm...

Somewhat floppy is OK, but you have to be able to get it to stand up as best you can for the Guinness official measurements. You can use a small amount of product, but if they feel your hair is way too stiff to be normal, it will work against you. Most of us can get it to stand up, even if it is long. I can !!

CONGRATS Deecoily!!!! You should be proud and happy that your dedication, experience, and knowledge is noticed by the Guinnes Book of World Records (no less), that NP are the experts to promote and educate others about the beauty of our natural hair. You truly deserve this honor and I am so happy for you. HUGS

I have to enter this. Instead of sit back on the sidelines, like I usually do...
"Authenticity is true beauty."
"Asking God why He gave us this hair, then praying for it to grow..." Stahp it!
