Default Is interlocking only for small locs?

I'm in the process of braidlocking but I'm having some trouble with keeping them loced. They keep unraveling. I'm playing with the idea of interlocing but my understanding is that it's only for smaller locs. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thanks!

As said no. If its a loc no matter the size it can be interlocked/latched with a tool of choice or with/by using your fingers
