Hello,

Copasetic here. This is not my first time having natural hair but this is my first time on this site. I went natural when I was 16 yrs old, after watching an episode of Any Day Now on Lifetime. I kept an afro for 4 1/2 years after that. At 20yrs old, I felt like a change because of a bunch of things I was going through in my life...so I got a perm. One of the biggest mistakes in my life! I did the big chop 4 months ago, after a year and half of suffering with my permed hair(I just don't like it!).

I will be loc'ing my hair in a couple of weeks. I don't know much about locs aside from what I've read and watching my Mum go through the process. So here I am!

hello this is my first time on the site and i wanna go natural.. i havent had a perm since april 26th and now i have braids, i wanna cut my hair so bad but afraid of how i may look. my head is huge. any suggestions??

My head is huge as well...I wear headbands :-)
