    Default Advice needed !!

I quit the relaxer addiction 8 months ago and I am finally starting to see it's natural beauty. The only problem is that I have absolutely no clue what to do with it!! I'm sitting here right now with my hair pulled back and slightly wet, which is what I do most often. Any advice on how to style my natural hair is hight appreciated!!

Well I had that problem a while back when I was just doing the slick back everyday and it was ruining my edges so try something like the twist out style or even keep the twists in. This style gives your edges a rest and can also be a style that can last a few days at a time if you wrap it with a silky scarf at night.
So what I usually do is make my twists a medium size, wear them for a few days and when they start getting a little "old" I take them out and just wear the twist out style for an extra day. PLUS the twist style doesn't take too long to do once you get the hang of it. Here's the link to a vid that shows you how to do them.

There are so many styles for you to wear.

Roller sets, twists, boxbraids, braidouts, flat twists, buns, updos, etc.

You just have to dive in, start experimenting, and practice.

Go to the main forum of this site, find some inspiration. and try it out. There are so many styles and ideas floating around here for you to delve into.

Good luck, welcome, and see you around the site.
