Relaxed Newbie thinking of Transitioning
Hello everyone!
I just registered today in the hopes of learning more about natural hair. I am currently relaxed but haven't got a relaxer for over 5 months. It was all for stretching, I was counting on getting a relaxer after taking down my weaves but something hit me and I wondered "Why not go natural?" I thought about it and decided to give it a try.
Any help you can give on the pros and cons of transitioning into natural hair would be greatly appreciated.
My relaxed hair is almost armpit length, it's probably more than that now considering I haven't had a relaxer for 5+ months. I'm not planning on having the "big chop", I just want to let my relaxed ends grow out. I am planning on caring for my hair like it's already natural by using only natural hair products.
Please, I need every help and tips I can get.
Thanks all

I am new to this site and Ive decided that the relaxer is no longer for me.... it ha been a well thought out decision and I believe I am making the best choice for the health of my hair. I will continue to communicate with others who have done the same so that I will remain encouraged.
???? has anyone worn the tree braids... if so how were they for you and how did you care for your braids ??? i think I am going to wear braids during my transitioning stage...
