Absolutely! I have inspired a few over the years. The latest was a fellow vocalist.she was one of those people who would look at natural hair and say " I could never do that" I hadn't worked with her in about 2 years, They told me that her flight landed right before mine so we would be picked up at the airport together, so we arranged to meet at a certain place. I walked right past her because I didn't recognize her, she was rocking a fabulous textured TWA! I was so surprised because she was vocal about being "anti-naps". But she told me that it was me that gave her the confidence to do it..now THAT was a good feeling

I feel I've inspired my mother who was at once dead set against me going natural or anyone going natural for that matter. lol. Now she has worn a twa less than an inch long and shes grown her hair out and continues to keep it natural. A complete turnaround! She's never given me any credit for it, but after all her fussing turned to curiosity and I saw a hint of admiration, I knew she was going in. =)

Yup! Two coworkers though one still wears wigs all the time (still not comfortable with her natural texture), and another coworker who was already natural but wore weaves and wigs full time has recently began wearing her own hair in all it's natural glory, which she said was because of me. I even have coworkers who aren't natural themselves but who have natural friends or relatives that they refer to me for advice or tips which I think is super cool. My hair is never that big a deal to me but it's kinda neat that so many people view it in such a positive way.

Both of my sisters - eventually. Several women that were customers of the bank where I used to work.

Two ladies in the building I work in. One is an older woman who keeps her hair in a TWA (she likes it that way--and it looks great on her!), another is slightly younger than me and is letting her hair grow out (it's been a couple of years for both). Both of them thanked me personally for inspiring them to get the big chop. I still see them off and on and they look fabulous!
