Great question
I have been having this problem myself this month. I am currently using my pic comb, wide tooth comb, and my hand lol I also have to section my hair off into sections . . .small sections at a time; I hold the root of my sections and detangle from the ends up. I usually try to keep my hair stretched as much as possible, because sometimes I don't have the patience to go through the process weekly. I'm thinking about giving the tangle teaser a try. I hear good talk about this tool on youtube. . . maybe it will make the process less time consuming.
I have to say! Although I have my OMG GOT TO WRAP THIS UP days, I will BC all over again . . . because that is how much I have grown to love my natural texture.
My scarf is my bestie haha . . . I work wonders with her

Yay! I like this thread, especially since I'm a fine-haired natural too!
Almost 2 years natural!

I have fine and thin hair. My album is very old though, I am going to reopen it and then you can see I rocked lots of hairstyles with my thin, fluffy hair.

Bump!
I use Aubrey GPB Protein Balancing Conditioner 2-3 times per month. Just bought some Aphogee for hardcore support -- it's for every 6 weeks.
I've been primarily finger detangling and it's working pretty good, but the shed/broken off hairs are causing crazy tangles. Tangle Teezer is too much for my fine strands but I might have to break it out to clear out the undergrowth. The search function (located above in the links with "User CP") will provide you with a wealth of knowledge, advice, thought-provoking ideas, and hilarity. Check it out!
