The Crystal sucked too so I gave in and ordered my "old faithful" funk butter saturday and it already shipped yesterday! Seems their shipping is much faster now! Yay!

I might have to give that funk butter a try. My kitchen blend is working great, but I'm in South Carolina until May and this heat is kicking up. I don't want to get caught out there smelling like onions and sweat socks

LOL! I know that's rite! Yes FB is really good and lasts through hot summer days. It works better than anything else I have tried so far!

*whipping funk butter back out*
The consistency just annoys me. I rather have something I can roll on opposed to having to put my fingers in it.

I just made my deodorant this morning! Basically I use 1 ounce water to 3 ounces vodka, add 20 drops each of tea tree and lavender oil. Works very well for me.
I too don't like to touch the deodorant butter (I make my own). Thanks for the idea about the cocoa butter tube . . . I'm thinking what I could add to my butter to make it a bit firmer.Where there's a will, there's a way (my blog about living naturally and simply, mothering, and homemaking)

Yeah that's the only thing about it, it gets under your nails and all. I'll just have to deal with it because it works better than anything else I tried. I received my order today and I am very happy bc one of the reasons I stopped ordering before was bc it took forever to get the product but now it seems to have improved.
AA-That's a good idea!

1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon shea butter
2 teaspoons cocoa butter
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons coconut oil
5-8 drops lavendar oil
A few drops of lemon oil for smell
I melt the butters down to mix everything together and then pop in the fridge until it's solid but still pliable. Then I just fill the cocoa butter container and I'm good to go.
@rootzdawta so are you just spraying your deodorant on?
@positiveenergee yay for quick deliveries! sometimes that makes all the difference.Formally MzCuteBrownLeo

Yes, Akomas, I just spray it on. I have a 4 ounce spray bottle that I mix everything in.
