My husband showed me a couple weeks ago what he's been using instead of deodorant. He mixes a few drops of tea tree oil with a dollop of real aloe vera gel. I tried it with TTO once, but the smell was overpowering. I'm using lime essential oil. So far, so good. And if I make too much, I just smooth it around my elbows and knees. Smells nice.

I just made my homemade deodorant and so far it's working well for me. I used arrowroot powder, baking soda, and coconut oil. I still sweat of course, but it's odorless and lasts longer than I expected even when I sweat profusely. Here is a link to my deodorant recipe and the ingredients I used. I even started making other recipes with the same natural ingredients, because lately my skin sensitivities have increased or changed and my skin has been reacting to commercial products, so I had to go the natural route.

I'm using milk of magnesia- 4 days now and it's working well. My alum crystal stopped working as it used to. Too many days where it fails now.

My homemade concoction includes shea butter, baking soda, coconut oil and cornstarch (or arrowroot). It works great. I found myself trying Tom's of Maine and I was so embarrassed at how funky I got!

I tried toms of maine and it failed me, too. I am almost fed up with these damn deodorants failing on me. I am using coconut oil, but it requires reapplication at least once.

Lime juice from a bottle was best, but it burns now. Same with alum crystal and baking soda. So I will try iso alcohol or apply some lemon essential oil before my coconut oil.

I've been laying coconut oil and Mill Creek Botanical Deodorant. On days over 80 degrees I layer Dove antiperspirant over them.
