I love it too! I never use shampoo anymore unless I absolutely have to. I find it a great substitute for shampoo because it doesn't strip my hair, EVER but still cleans it well.
Clears up my face too!Don't forget the blessings in the struggle.

Two weeks ago, I bought a huge clump of raw black soap for $2.99 with no sales tax!!! I'm a bargain shopper so a great deal always thrills me. I've been using it for my skin (so far so good) & after my exercise session, I plan to wash my box braids with it.
I'll post my opinion (re my hair) later tonight.

I just use it as a regular shampoo, I condition regularly after the wash too, then apply my oils and shea butter. @ vavoon..I have some jojoba oil, but on the bottle it says to rinse out I believe..so should I apply that before I shampoo?
and I have to invest in some pure castor oil, I only have the castor mix.
@ shamira , I use it on my face too ever once in a while (I use clean and clear on the daily) and I use shea butter for my face and skin after washing..but the shea butter might be too heavy to be trying to use in the summer time.
@ nocares, I bought my blacksoap from the beauty supply, it was so cheap, way cheaper than my Organix coco milk shampoo thats is $8 for a small bottle!

it depends on the kind of jojoba you have. i was referring to organic jojoba oil and you can leave that oil on your hair

I love black soap and use it from head to toe. It does not strip my hair, in fact I find it very moisturising. When I use it I have to follow up with an ACV rinse after conditioning though

Another black soap fan. Use it for skin and hair. I do find it a bit drying on my skin though, but I always moisturise anyway.
