Two Hair Products You Should Not Live Without!

In this ontogenesis of mine, which began July 12, 2010, I have explored all types of hair products, hair regimens and numerous hairstyles. I have rocked twists, coils, braids, twist-outs, braid outs, small fros, medium and large fros and at times I opted for no fros. I have gone from tame, to wild, to completely outrageous and back to tame again! In all of the experimenting I have done with my natural hair, I have come to realize, the two key ingredients to making it all work are CONFIDENCE and PRIDE. In a society, where straight is ‘in’ and kinky is down- right frightful, it is most imperative to hold within ourselves confidence and pride. Confidence is my daily regimen of choice and pride is my deep conditioner. I douse these on my ‘do’ everyday, for they enable me to walk out the door and face the world in which I live proudly proclaiming ‘Here I am, in all my glory!’ So my sisters rock your crowning glory with CONFIDENCE and PRIDE!

its true about confidence , i still remember my most self-conscious days when i'd look in the mirror, and the face that'd look back at me had a head of short , natural thick hair and i'd wanna cry. why? coz i couldnt do anything to it. eventually i'd have to get out of the door.
what struck me most since i transitioned is that i have found out that eventually, its your personality that'd win people. i dont think my bf ever saw my natural hair when we started dating, so making that change was so frightening but i am thankful coz he was ever supportive. i must say it was more than hair for me when i decided against relaxing. just lke you said, i go out now with : '' Here i am in all my glory'' and i 'd add '' take it or leave it, this is me''
