I never wear lipstick since it feels dry. I love lipgloss especially Mac and Victoria Secrets. Lip gloss make your lips look all shiny and full :-)

they give a hint of color without the "heavy look of lipstick" its a staple and not regulated to any age group. Its good for blending with lipsticks to change up a look. I tend to stay away from most lip glosses except for a few. Lip gloss just feels to heavy to me sometimes compared to lipstick

I like using lip gloss when I don't feel like looking "made up" bit still want my lips to shine.

Using lip gloss is also a big step UP from using "Vaseline" when I was a little girl. LOL.

I KNOW y'all remember taking the Vaseline out of the big container and putting it in a tiny container to put in yo purse for when the "occasion" arosed to fix them lips. And when you put on too much Vaseline, it left a white line on your upper and lower lips where they met. LOL

I have 3 flavored tubes from bath and body works..one of them is red velvet
I just love the shine and smells/flavors and stuff. I've never been a fan of lip stick anyway. As for lip balm, Idk..I have not worn it since I was little lol.

@Chacha: You should try the Cover-Girl Wetslicks, they are too thin for my taste but it could be just right for you. That said maybe before adopting glosses you could try half-tint or sheer lipsticks: that's the route I went first with Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (though it's now a gloss) and I know MAC made them because I used to wear one when I gave up my dark colours. Pretty sure you can find some in drugstore makeup brands.

Girl the true question is why NOT lipgloss?! It is the bomb. I want gloss on in my casket. So sensual looking to me.

Ive never worn lipstick, I rock clear gloss...Lipstick makes me look and feel overly made up...and id hate to have to reapply it..if my gloss wears off nobody notices it.

That's exactly how I feel. And now that "Chapstick" has a version that also moisturizes as well....

@Vev.... I don't know what you're talking about. *remembering the big vasoline jar with the baby powder scent*

My lips are full-figured and have a natural dark tint to them. Therefore, most lipsticks, except very dark ones like the deepest chocolates or burgundies, look too garishly opaque and chalky. I can't wear them unless they are the sheer ones that look like gloss on your lips. Lipglosses by nature have a bit of transluscency to them. I have glosses in every shade imaginable.
