Random thoughts of the homey kind...
Really tree?! Really.
I can not believe I just raked my back yard Saturday morning and got it looking nice only to go out there this evening and it's covered in brown Oak blooms.
I'm trying to hang on to you Mr. Tree but you might have to go.
Guess I'll just wait until this stuff stops falling before I go out and rake again.

Dear Garden Plot,
I am writing this from the warmth of my home. Yes, I know it has been several months since I've ventured into your weed growing, groundhog ridden, clot blocked, just downright messy area. I promise to see you soon. XOXO
Sincerely,
OHR

Cut down the bushes only for them to grow back to monstrous size again....ugggghhhh, going to have to dig them up completely so the snakes have no place/shade to hide!

Uggghhh...fleas! Why my yard? I don't even own pets.
Why are my new plants dying? I know I don't have a green thumb but I made sure to get plants that were supposed to be able to take the sun. My crotons are just crispy even though they've been watered almost daily since planting.
To top that off, everytime I go out there to tend to my plants, I come back with my pants literally COVERED in fleas.
I've sprayed the house and car but still fleas. Finally got some stuff to spray the yard and did that this morning, hope that helps.

Thanks for Panking me!!

There's no point in buying a big dresser, because I really don't have much to put in it

For the deer that keep eating the tops off my plants, I gots something for you this evening. I dug out the garden netting and covered everything. That'll fix your red wagons.
ETA: I put an old plastic garbage can over the one tomato plant that's unprotected tonight....I will win!

Dear flowers,
I am doing my best to help you survive. Please do your part. I am tired of going to Lowes and Home Depot to buy your cousins because you decide to give up the ghost too soon. As for you Silver Dollar Tree, please know that I will put you in the ground as soon as I decide on a good location. Please be patient.
Love,

2 days until I get my ottoman! I still don't have a real color scheme though. Most of the furniture is dark brown and brown-black. Since the carpet is grey I'm thinking about throwing in some cool-tone beige (like a light mink brown) as a second neutral and then a few jewel tones for pops of color.
