Scalp Help!

Any ideas or suggestions on how to repair a scalp that has been stripped of moisture? I used clarifying shampoo and an ACV rinse at the same time. Now my scalp feels like it is on fire and itches profusely.

from my understanding they remove moisture and build up from the scalp and do not add it...
I do not add anything to my scalp but you need to drink plenty of water first of all bc that adds moisture to your body period.
but oyin handmade products like burnt sugar pomade you can add to scalp and jane carter solutions mine itches bc it is dry but I add water...no matter what I mixed the only thing helps mine is H2o so I co wash on the regular...gd luck

Try a deep condition, no wash, no nothing, just wet it and deep condition w/ a moisturizing conditioner and maybe add some of your fav oil to it.

If you use oils on your scalp, you could try organic virgin coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil

Did you scrub your scalp during shampooing? Or scratched a few days before? It sounds like the acv is just aggravating an already irritated scalp. I would do a light rinse then apply your favorite oil.

Overkill. It sounds like you just went too far by both clarifying and using the ACV rinse. IA with the other posts, try rinsing and using an oil, or maybe try some aloe to help soothe the irritation.
