The female cardinal looks so sad in the snow.

IMO I think men's hair grows at the same rate but because they usually don't fuss with it everyday, they retain the length.

lol thats funny! it seems as if guys hair just grows faster sometimes... i know a guy who is growing his hair out and it is already what us ladies call "bra strap length" he doesnt tie his hair up at night or trim or any other thing that is supposed to keep our hair healthy... however despite this his hair just keeps getting longer.

lol..yeah guys got it good. The thick long lashes and the long growing hair...all effortless.
my bf's air has been longer than mine every since i've known him..and only now is it getting close to his in length...6yrs later, 2 yrs natural.

maybe guys just have the "leave it 'lone, let it be" thing down

Hmmm I think some guys definitely got better hair that some females because they don't manipulate has much and are pretty simple in their regiment.

I got to see a pair of ducks doing the mating dance this week. He was a a gorgeous shade of green, looked beautiful. She looked dull.

ITA. @ the OP, have patience. The two year mark is typically when my hair starts grazing my shoulders.
