    Default My Dermatologist...

Said that increased water and essential oils really don't stimulate hair growth. He said if the root is damaged from tight styles that pull the hair follicle that hair can be damaged and never grow back. I went to him last week because my stylist said my right side is thinning and I noticed thinning in the front part of the crown. Now, my mother has thinning hair all over and since hair loss is hereditary you know I started to panic!

Question family "Do you believe what this dermatologist said?"

I'm not sure if I do or not but I'm going to continue with the regiment I created for my hair.

This is definitely true. If the follicle is damaged no product can stimulate growth. Did he say your follicle were damaged?

You know what stimulates hair growth? Believe it or not, it's stinky but onion juice works.

Nah. He just said that he couldn't tell that I had thinning and didn't know why my hair is growing slower in one section. I'll pass on the onion juice. Thanks though lol.

Yea, people have a hard one. I only believed it when I read it in a science magazine so I put it on my scalp a few times when my hubby was away. Sometimes even when he was here and asked him if he smelled me, lol. I would wash it out the same day anyway.

Onion and Garlic work. It's the sulphur compounds {not just the sulphur} that are the reason. If the hair follicle is damaged then yea, hair won't grow. Sometimes you can heal them if they aren't too damaged too much {using healing oils: Calendula, Helichrysum, Rose Seed, Seabuckthorn, etc}. If it's genetic, things like rogaine and other prescription will work PLUS something for hair thickening. The hair that grows from those presciptions is weak and thin. Plus the hair falls out if you stop using the product.

I'd go to a different dermatologist who'll actually look at your scalp and try to see what's going on.

This is my first time ever hearing of this Onion Juice...tell me more:

    How it's made?
    can I buy it?
when (in the cleaning cycle) to use it?

I am always interested in learning new natural "do's" for my crown?

You can make your own, Melody!
In YouTube, type in onion juice...and you'll see some choices. For me, I'll mix onions, garlic, ginger in my blender, then strain. Place in an applicator bottle to apply on hair, before washing. Depending on which method you go for will determine how long to leave in and when in the cleaning cycle to use it.

I will say that my hair fall has slowed since using this 3-4 months ago....other than that too soon to give a definitive response. Good luck!!!

If you want to buy alcohol from WinCo, you should visit your nearest location. They don’t allow curbside pickup, so you will have to go inside the store.
