Don't you just love backhanded compliments.

Lady at work: Your hair looks nice.
    Me: Thank-you.
Lady at work: The style really suits you. I would never walk out the house with my hair like that, but it works for you.
    Me: Ok.
My thanks and appreciation go to the lovely one who PANKED me!

I really need to retwist my hair but I just can't seem to find the motivation.

My mom sent me a picture of a friend of hers who was boasting about how long her hair is, and I realized that my hair is longer . This lead to a conversation with my mom about the fact that I'm going to grow very long hair; which lead to my mom suggesting that I press my hair since I want to see the length. I told her that the reason why I want to grow my hair long is so I can see the length without having to use a drop of heat .

I think I've gotten over my hatred for EcoStyler Gel, but for some reason the back of my hair is not participating in the "be defined coils" thing .

Sitting here with my damp twists in a wrap, then tied down with a sheer scarf. Want to see if I can control the fuzzies a bit more for one more week.

This weeks hair was an interesting one. I concocted a new leave in which was lighter, less oily and left my hair soft and movable.... **smh** prior it was frightening. My mate viewed in unaltered state and questioned what happened to my hair. lol. I left it dried, shrunken and packed. After the torture, I mixed my concoctions... applied it, twisted into thick ropes and happy with the results. The mate was pleased and relieved.... caught him lurking as I worked magic... lol.

Momz complimented on how thick and lengthy it's getting. And my sis is considering natural again . I wish her success.

I'm annoyed with my bantu knots unraveling randomly. Before my haircut (five days ago), I figured out some saturated conditioner twistout style a few weeks ago that made the fro look so nice and big, and moisturized without a Coming To America flashback. Super genius me didn't take a picture or write down exactly what I did. I miss the volume, but it'll grow back in this desert heat. Argan oil blend (from Pro.claim) is making me question if I really have alopecia in one area. I see expanding hair already curling in a regular pattern covering the area that was a peach fuzzy bald spot five days ago. Finding products that may work long term is such a relief. The JBCO will ship next week.
