    Default gardening random thoughts

I cannot believe how spicy that pepper was I picked from the garden this morning. it took three glasses of half and half to cool my mouth down to just barely burning. I'm going to have to either pick them earlier or give them away.

My first batch of pickles has come out wonderfully, even though I didn't wait even a week to crack them open. These refrigerator pickles remind me of the pickles my grandfather used to make every year (and charge us grandkids a nickel for!)

My rosemary is thriving! I need to try and make some rosemary oil to take back to school with me.

Cucumbers have been the toughest for me to grow, but I'm proud to say so far I've harvested 5!

Last year my Collards did great...this year not so much. I'm going to weed and replant this weekend. Perhaps it's still too much heat...hmmm.
