Clarifying shampoo on locs...
Does this give good results or is it not good? I've never used a clarifying shampoo on my hair ever, but since I have hard water, i figured this would be good.

Clarifying is good for washing away debris, buildup and other stuff from locs, its good if you want your locs to be as clean as possible especially if one uses products.

Suave Clarifying Shampoo is excellent! Also - if you have "real" BlackSoap...just melt it down with some water...
These two work well on doing a "deep clean" on locs - but don't do it too often. You don't want to dry out your hair too much...Karma is a boomerrang that will bust you in the eye.

I use Herbal Essences's Drama Clean weekly and moisturize afterward with sweet almond oil. If you do in ACV rinse afterward it can really soften your hair. Only do the acv every couple of weeks though.

I use one made by Alba once a month and it really strips everything away. I always have to follow it up with oil and diluted leave in conditioner. One of these days, I'll try out ACV and see how that measures up.

Giovanni's have a wonderful clarifying shampoo. My hair doesn't feel stripped at all after I use it.

I use paul mitchell's clarifying shampoo. It is a little drying so i add a little coconut oil to it. it definitely cleans everything out and off of my locs. plus it smells like lemons. I am looking for something different, maybe something with more moisture in it.

I use this detox conditioner to clarify. It is black because it has active charcoal in it which removes all buildup.
