I've finally had a chance to slow down.

The festival was a bust. Great vendors, great music, great location...no people. There wasn't even a third of the crowd there was last year. On top of all that I was suffering from a crazy migraine AND it was hot. I stayed about four hours before bailing out and based on the pictures and commentary I saw from other vendors, the crowds never quite picked up. I did make some sales so it wasn't a complete loss though. All of my amigurumi pieces sold ironically enough. I didn't know I had a migraine then but I had it since Saturday and have only just gotten over it. I had faded vision in one eye so I thought my sight was leaving me...two specialists later the diagnosis stood at a really bad migraine.

I am working on a tablerunner for my great aunt in crochet thread. I did the daishiki and the bra top from the Get Your Crochet On book but didn't get a chance to wear those.

In the meantime I knooked this. It gets easier the more I do it.

Isn't he cute? I did him and the little white bear/cat type animal behind it yesterday.

I got a bunch of scraps from Goodwill to practice sewing with.
