What do you typically use on your hair? Do you latch or palm roll?
You might just need a good clarifying wash or an ACV rinse to get rid of build-up and restore some life to your locs. $1 Suave may work for mild build-up; Dishwashing liquid may be needed for other cases.
For daily moisture, water is usually helpful... You can make a spritz with water, castor oil, and almond/jojoba/olive oil (you pick) or you can make a different spritz with water, aloe vera juice, glycerin, and such if you're not an oil fan. The oil spritz is working great for me right now.

I personally like Oyin Greg juice, I use jamaican black castor oil after washes, or mix spring water with a little of extra virgin olive oil. You can also add aloe vera juice and any essential oils you like (just shake and spritz as needed)
Also, it sounds simple but don't forget to drink water...consistently! Internal health matters.
Hope this helps.

When I wash & condition my hair, I squeeze as much water as I can out and wrap my hair with a towel for about 15 minutes. I then use either Oyin Juices & Berries, Oyin Greg Juice or Jane Carter Leave-In to moisturize. to seal, I use castor oil mixed with Monoi oil, or Qhemet's Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. My locs stay soft & moisturized.
Since it's summer, I've been rinsing regularly and my babies love it. I recently colored my locs so it is important for me to make moisturized locs a top priority.DNA's double helix design - ingenious.
A spring coil's power & momentum - amazing.
The gift of nappy hair.....see a pattern emerging? :-)

Coconut oil is a good one too. I also do a prolong rinse when I wash my locks. I do not blow dry because then my hair will be very crunchy. Try some various oils to see which one works best for yah!
