    This was really exciting for me. I work on a cancer research project and am in discussions with medical professionals all day about the science we are uncovering as we analyze the mystery of various de novo tumors (tumors not treated with chemotherapy or radiation) we are analyzing. When this hit the news, it went crazy. I was so proud! And, the NIH director mentioned throughout the story is a known contributor to our project and tied to the funding, so this hits home for me on so many levels. A lot of my path and drive through science and research evolve around H. lacks' story. And I didn't realize it until my mid-40's. I was compelled to read her book earlier this year before this story hit. We all probably know by now, but I wanted to recognize it by posting in this thread. Enjoy! #geekmoment
