Default Is He To Old For Me!?

I Saw The Thread Nappz92 Posted & I Have The Same Type Of Problem.

I Like This Guy And It Seems Like He Likes Me.
    I'll Be 17 In A Few Days & He'll Be 20 This Year...
Hes A Sophomore In College & Im A Senior..

He Makes It Apparent That He Likes Me But, I Dont Know What To Do...He Goes To School 4 Hours Away...

I Dont Wanna Mess Up Our Friendship. I Like Him ALOT ALOT ! But It Feels Like Im Not Interested But I Am.
Its Just It Seems Like In Every way He Wants More Than Im Willing To Give Him.

    What Do I Do!?!?!

I'd say stay friends with him, if he is really into you he will wait until you are 18 and are in a better state to judge your actions. Depending on the laws where you are your situation may be illegal and even if it's not if you are that conflicted why not slow things down until you know what it is you want?

Also, anyone who tries to push you into something you are not ready for is not a good partner, don't rush into this and end up doing something you may regret. Trust me when I say, if he really likes you he will wait until you are old enough and are 100% ready to be with him.

    Good luck!

If you have to ask, then your answer is yes he is too old for you.

I agree... otherwise I wouldn't think 17 dating 20 is a big deal... 4 hours away isn't a big deal imo, either. If he has a car he can visit you every other weekend and vice versa... It just seems like you aren't ready to be with him.

My thought is...if you're still considered underage in your state...it would be best you both not even consider taking it further until you turn 18. That goes for you too Jalyn. Just be careful. If you care about those young men, make sure he won't do anything that could land him in trouble.
    Thank you, Jah!!!! Thank you!!!!

You have to wonder why he chooses someone younger and underage. Sometimes, the truth goes beyond the 'He thinks I'm mature for my age' scenario. You have no idea if he's seeing someone else close to where he is at the same time. Men are notorious for this and think its okay, as long as the two of you have no formal commitment.

Exactly. If he's 24, I would wonder why he wouldn't choose a woman who is at least fully legal to participate in his lifestyle.

Even though it doesn't seem like a significant age gap, yall are in different places in your lives right now. This seems sketch.
