    I LOVE Face Off.

It's totally different from the makeup that I do (I know Character makeup (like aging) and minor effects (like burns, gunshot wounds, etc.) but I don't do FX/Prosthetics/Model-making/etc.) both in-terms of the makeup itself and the market segment and how they work (I'm on set, they're in makeup labs). So it's a fascinating window into a world I'm not really a part of and of course the work itself can be quite incredible. I actually know someone competing in this second season!

Bump! Chacha, I am from Philly, I didn't know you were too. I can't think of any questions now, but I love the thread. Carry on!

Veviticus comes in and reads everyone post, gets good information, inspiration, and admires everyone, and goes back out, to think of a question...

That is soooo cool Soul!! Did you go to school for this or is this something you just "fell into"?

awww I feel so honored...I have always been obsessed by soap, 5 kids, I used to pile in the tub at one time, and if I didn't have a full size bar of soap I didn't feel right. I discovered Lush www.lushusa.com ,and me and my daughter were spending $150 a month there. So I asked myself "what the heck IS soap".

Found out that cold process soap is a process of combining caustic soda and any oil or fat, then you can add any fruit, vegatable, grain, color, chemical...it was endless combinations.

I signed up to an online course in soap making, three years ago and been hooked ever since. The internet is full of great soap making resources, but it is a dangerous hobby (because of the use of caustic soda or lye) You have to protect your eyes, skin children and pets...there are a thousand ways to kill, maim or seriously hurt yourself or someone else making soap.
Instigating and waiting for the REVOLUTION to begin!

@ Meagan22. Do you know how funny/witty/clever you are? If so, do folks in real life find you just as funny as we do on NP?

@ Trenell. We know that you're an actress but do you write at all? You're stories and anecdotes are so funny on here I could see you writing for a sitcom or some kind of tv series.
