Finally Natural In High School!!!
Heyyy all my fellow natural teens in high school and college bound teens.
Ok so I am just so excited that I have officially went natural in high school, my senior year which just began about last week and well I haven't received not one bit of haterade from anybody. I have been getting so much love that it is almost scary lol.
Anyways I'm usually not on here that much but I would like to get to know more of you all...in search of the natural crown placed upon my head years ago at birth..

It's been years since I was a teen LOL but I wanted to stop by and say:
Congrats on the last year of high school and
Continue to wear your natural hair with pride.

Wow, congratulations! I'm sure you're super excited, and you should be! I'm glad you haven't gotten any negative feedback yet, but it you happen to in the future just brush it off and remember your hair is beautiful.
I struggled with going natural my senior year in high school (mostly because I was afraid of what people would think), but I basically just started to transition in October. This summer I finally got the guts to go natural, and I'm loving it. I'm a freshman in college now. Good luck with your hair.

I'm a senior in high school too. I started transitioning end of my junior year. I wish I've had as much luck as you with attention. I do live in a very small, very conservative, very close minded town where I kind of stick out (skin color for obvious reasons). My friends don't really understand that I can't wash my hair every day or that I have to sleep with my hair tied down. It's really exciting though, to regain that little piece of yourself. Hair is a woman's crowning glory and I feel so amazing that I don't need to fit myself into a mold. Best of luck.
